Scott started 3DDeluxe in the summer of 2019 while taking bioengineering coursework for a second bachelors. The business quickly took off at the start of COVID-19 and he dropped his classes to pursue 3DDeluxe full-time.
3D printing and prototyping were his first focus, but when he realized the potential with silicone molds, he harnessed the opportunity to develop a proprietary silicone mold workflow that rivals commercial grade molds for a fraction of the price. Custom silicone molds are his main focus, and he enjoys every step of the process from design to customer pics!
In his free time he enjoys powered paragliding from wherever he can find a launch spot.
